L’Associazione Aipe vuole rendere i propri soci partecipi ad un importante progetto formativo e di ricerca volto al reclutamento di personale altamente specializzato nella produzione industriale.
Il Dipartimento di Ingegneria Industriale dell’ Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata ha attivato il Master di secondo livello “Fusion for Energy – Science and Engineering”, che verrà finanziato da aziende italiane che operano nel settore industriale legato alla fusione nucleare, con borse di studio dell’importo di circa 18 mila euro l’anno (per due anni).
Ogni borsa sarà finalizzata alla realizzazione di un percorso formativo e di ricerca di interesse per l’industria finanziatrice. Il Master sarà quindi aderente alle esigenze del mondo produttivo, con un piano di studi che enfatizza, in modo particolare, gli aspetti di progettazione e realizzazione rispetto a quelli meramente teorici, mantenendo uno spettro ampio di campi di insegnamento relativi alle tecnologie della fusione. È previsto quindi che il lavoro di ricerca si svolga in massima parte presso i laboratori e gli impianti delle industrie stesse.
Un tale approccio fornisce all’azienda una preziosa opportunità per formare al proprio interno, con il significativo supporto dell’università, risorse altamente specializzate nella fusione, un’ area caratterizzata da un elevato potenziale per le imprese a livello mondiale.

The industrial engineering department of University Roma Tor Vergata activated the second degree Master on “Fusion for Energy – Science and Engineering”, that will be financed by Italian companies operating in the industrial sectors connected to the nuclear fusion, with grants amounting to about € 18,000 per year (in two years).
Each scholarship will be assigned with the aim to achieve a training and research program of interest of the participant company. The Master will be thus tailored to the industries’ needs, with a program which will highlight, in a particular way, the design and production aspects rather than the more theoretical ones, by keeping a wide range of teaching areas related on the fusion technologies. For this reason, most of the research work will be performed at the laboratories and plants of the involved companies.
This approach provides to the company a good opportunity for training highly specialized resources in the fusion’s area from the inside, with the significant support of the university.
