ENEA, l’Agenzia Nazionale per le nuove tecnologie, l’energia e lo sviluppo economico sostenibile, presenta il decimo e ultimo appuntamento del ciclo di convegni tematici sulla Ricerca di Sistema Elettrico, un’ iniziativa nell’ambito dell’Accordo di Programma MiSE-ENEA, volta a diffondere e rafforzare la conoscenza dei risultati ottenuti dalla ricerca di sistema nel triennio 2012-2014, con particolare riferimento al trasferimento dell’innovazione tecnica e tecnologica.
L’evento dedicato ai “Reattori di IV Generazione e sicurezza nucleare” avrà luogo presso la sede ENEA di Roma il prossimo 11 settembre.
L’obiettivo è quello di aprire un confronto tra la ricerca e il tessuto industriale nazionale, nell’ottica che nel medio e lungo termine l’Italia possa rivedere il proprio mix energetico per problemi connessi alla sicurezza di approvvigionamento energetico. D’altra parte, l’opzione nucleare ha un ruolo di rilievo nel sistema energetico europeo, e i sistemi nucleari di quarta generazione, e in particolare, i sistemi LFR e SMR, potrebbero concorrere nel lungo periodo al mantenimento di tale ruolo.

ENEA, the National Agency for new technologies, energy and economic sustainable development, presents the latest among the 10 meetings in the series of conferences dedicated on Research of Electronic System, an initiative in the scope of the Program Agreement MiSE , aiming to spread and strengthen the obtained results in the research during the three years period 2012-2014, with particular references to the transfer of technical and technological innovation.The event, dedicated to the “4th Generation Reactors and nuclear safety“ will take place in the ENEA headquarter in Rome, on September 11th 2015.
The purpose of the initiative is, on one hand to open a dialogue between research and industries, by considering that in a medium and long term approach, Italy could review its energetic mix for issues connected on safety in energy supply. On the other hand, the nuclear option has a relevant role in the European energy system, and the 4th generation nuclear systems, in particular LFR and SMR systems, could maintain such a role in the long period.
