Il presidente del sottocomitato ISO, Nigel Croft, responsabile della revisione della normativa ISO 9001 sui sistemi di gestione della qualità, spiega quali saranno i principali cambiamenti e le prossime tappe della revisione.
L’ultima bozza (Draft International Standard – DIS) è stata votata ed approvata, ottenendo quasi il 90% delle approvazioni, per cui si può passare alla fase successiva di Final Draft internazional Standard (FDIS).
Gli incaricati alla revisione della norma prenderanno in considerazione tutte le osservazioni ricevute durante la votazione DIS al fine di produrre un progetto definitivo. Una volta approvato quest’ultimo, lo standard verrà poi pubblicato.
“Siamo sulla strada giusta e stiamo rispettando i tempi previsti per la pubblicazione“, spiega Nigel Croft, che aggiunge: “La nuova versione si basa principalmente sull’ approccio per processi con la metodologia plan-do-check-act che ha avuto molto successo nella versione 2008. La novità della versione 2015 è invece costituita dall’approccio basato sul rischio, con l’obiettivo di prevenire effetti indesiderati“.
L’ISO 9001 è uno degli standard più noti, con oltre 1 milione di certificati rilasciati in tutto il mondo. La certificazione fornisce i requisiti per aiutare le aziende a comprovare l’ elevata qualità dei prodotti e servizi offerti ai loro clienti, nonchè un quadro di riferimento che ha lo scopo di semplificare i processi ed incrementarne l’efficienza.

The last draft (Draft International Standard – DIS) has been voted and approved, obtaining almost the 90% of the approvals, so they can move on the next phase of the Final Draft International Standard (FDIS).
The appointees at the revision of the norm will consider all the observations received during the DIS voting with the aim to produce a definitive project. Once approved this last, the standard will be published.
“We are on the right way and we are respecting the schedule for the publication”, Nigel Croft explains, adding: “The new version is based primarily on the approach for processes for the methodology plan-do-check-act that was very successful in 2008 version. The novelty of the 2015 version is instead constituted by the approach based on the risk, with the objective to prevent indesiderable effects”.
The ISO 9001 is one of the most famous standards, with over 1 million certificates released all over the world. The certification furnish the requirements to help companies to prove the high quality products and services offered to their customers, as well as a frame of reference that has the scope to simplify the processes and increase the efficiency.
