Aipe sigla una nuova collaborazione con Key to Metals

Aipe ha da poco attivato una importante partnership con la Key to Metals AG di Zurigo, per permettere ai propri soci di fruire del servizio di accesso al più completo database per la schedatura tecnica dei materiali (chiave degli acciai).

Grazie alla convenzione stipulata dall’associazione con la società, gli associati Aipe potranno accedere ad un software on-line (Total Material) beneficiando di un’ agevolazione per l’acquisto del servizio, le cui principali caratteristiche sono riassunte nei seguenti punti:

• Consultazione di 226.000 materiali di 29 paesi e 59 normative, con aggiornamenti e incrementi mensili.
• Proprietà chimiche, meccaniche, fisiche tradizionali (composizione, rottura, snervamento, durezza, modulo elastico, etc.).
• Proprietà elettriche, magnetiche, di lavorabilità di macchina (machinability).
• Proprietà meccaniche avanzate in regime elasto-plastico (curve stress/strain e flow stress/strain, fatica, meccanica della frattura, creep) con l’opzione “extended range”. Per materiali per cui non sono disponibili proprietà definite da test di laboratorio è possibile identificare materiali similari già caratterizzati (funzionalità utile per progetti preliminari).
• Corrispondenze incrociate tra le normative internazionali;
• Possibilità di identificare leghe similari in base a proprietà chimiche o meccaniche o a una combinazione delle due con smartcross
• Confronto multiplo: possibilità di inserire in una unica schermata fino a 4 leghe in contemporanea per confrontare le proprietà faccia-a-faccia.
• Identificazione di leghe sconosciute in base all’ analisi chimica ottenuta da quantometri con l’opzione smartcomp(tm).
• Metallografia: raccolta di micrografie originali.
• Database fornitori (produttori/rivenditori) per leghe metalliche (esclusi dati sui prezzi).
• Materiali non metallici (polimeri, ceramica, compositi). nuova banca-dati per materiali non metallici che offre accesso alle proprietà per migliaia di polimeri, ceramiche e compositi, tra cui proprietà meccaniche, fisiche, termiche ed elettriche.
• Esportazione dei dati di proprietà dei materiali in vari formati compatibili con i software CAE come ansys, hyperworks, abaqus, siemens nx e molti altri.
• Tracciabilità delle variazioni intervenute nelle norme a livello delle proprietà. si visualizza immediatamente il dato modificato e aggiornato
• Più di 580 articoli di tecnologia sui materiali (estratti dalla letteratura tecnica in lingua inglese) con 4 nuovi articoli ogni mese.

Aipe has recently activated an important partnership with the Key to Metals AG of Zurigo, to allow to its members to use the service of access to the most complete database for the technical cataloging of materials (key steels).

Thanks to the agreement signed by the association with the company, the Aipe members can access to an on-line software (Total Material), benefiting from a facilitation for the purchase of the service, whose main features are summarized as follows:

• Consultation of 226.000 materials of 29 countries and 59 norms, with updatings and monthly increments.
• Chemical, mechanical, traditional physic properties (composition, rupture, enervation, hardness, elastic modulus, etc.).
• Electrical, magnetic, machinability properties.
• Advanced mechanical properties under elastic-plastic (curves stress/strain and flow stress/strain, fatigue, mechanic fractures, creep) with “extended range” option. For materials for which there are available properties defined by labopratory tests can identify similar materials already characterized (useful feature for pre-projects).
• Cross-correspondences between international regulations.
• Possibility to indentify similar alloys based on chemical or mechanical or a combination of the two with SmartCross.
• Multiple comparison: Integration in a single screen up to 4 leagues simultaneously to compare the properties of face-to-face.
